You might have a number of statements like this:
When I remember x doing y on z , I feel [a] because I need [b].
(If you would like to remind yourselves of a range of universal needs please use the list that you may have copied from the ‘what’s behind the problem’ section of this site).
In doing this, it is very important to be able to separate your need from your strategy.
e.g. Do you ever need money? No, you don't need money; money is part of a strategy for meeting some needs. As a strategy, money can either be an effective or ineffective way for you to satisfy your many universal needs.
