You have spent some time looking at your interpersonal communication.

You might like to congratulate yourself for having completed the work of:

  1. defining what happened in a way they would probably agree with
  2. identifying what feelings and needs are behind your (and their?) behaviours
  3. considering how you might make a request that would help you get your needs met

This was probably a slow and difficult journey, and you have choices as to what you do next.

When you imagine using your strategy to get your need met e.g. your need for undertanding etc, do you feel calm, anxious etc?
